Folsom Prison Revisited Featuring Devon Brain
All around the world, music lovers and socially conscious critics were drawn in by Johnny Cash’s first live album, “At Folsom Prison.” Watch musicians pay tribute to the rockabilly rebel in Folsom Prison Revisited - Tribute to Johnny Cash at the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium on 26th October 2023. “It has been in the works for a couple of years now, and it was hoped to become a project during COVID, but for obvious reasons, it was postponed a handful of times,” explained Devon Brayne, storyteller and performer in the show. “We’ve been working on getting it ready for Festival Place for about six months.” Johnny Cash is truly one of the best-selling musicians of all time, having sold more than 90 million records worldwide. Among his extensive discography of over 70 albums, one of Cash's best works was recording a live concert at California's Folsom State Prison.
