Bill Hanson was the driving force and lead singer behind one of the country’s hottest touring bands of the 90’s – Kidd Country. His baritone voice and energetic stage presence left audiences across Canada always screaming for more. Raised in Viking, Alberta, country music has been in his blood since he was a teenager. He started playing weddings at the age of 16 and was touring full-time at 18, bringing an authentic country sound to the stage with each performance. His powerful voice and natural charisma led Kidd Country to 3 top 10 singles and earned them the title of Performers of the Year by the Alberta Recording Industry. Hanson has also played with award-winning artists, including Gord Bamford, Tracy Miller and Hey Romeo.
